Conkling Hall Week: Day 3

As many of you know, Conkling Hall is an all-volunteer run organization – no staff. We do, however, have a very hard working Board of Directors that not only attend Board meetings, fundraise and oversee the Hall’s operation, but they also plan and implement the many events, cook, paint and take out the trash.

The terms of two longtime Board members, Phil Pearson and Tony Guadagno, recently ended. We are so very grateful for their service to the Hall and how they enthusiastically embraced the demands of volunteerism.

I hope you will join me in welcoming two new members to the Conkling Hall Board. Funmi Oladipo is a resident of Rensselaerville. She is an accountant by training, a realtor, member of the vestry of Trinity Episcopal Church and a You Tube celebrity where she shares her passion for great food. Steve Gifford is a resident of Berne, a building contractor and sound engineer. They both bring important skills to the Hall and I, for one, look forward to working with them.
